The little things!

I went downstairs for what felt like the first time in a week (when really it's only been like a day) & found some things I took pictures of:

1) This is my dad's new toy. For some reason he needed to get a leather chair, which can give you a massage & you can listen to music from. We now have 4 leather chairs in the house, none of them are being used!

My dad is the same guy whose license plate says "COOL GUY" (which he was offered thousands of dollars to sell but didn't!) And the same guy whose been turning 50 for the past 5 years (he's actually 52 now, I guess he likes that number, he is an accountant/auditor (no that's not why i'm studying accounting!))

2) My mom isn't home, so i'm home alone again, which is great since I can peacefully work, but this time she left a note:

It says: Amit, Puneet mom going to Na Nigara Fall with Raj Anti Please eat rice with black chola for lunch. Thank you. I love you.

This made me smile because it is in english, which my mom rarely speaks with us, it is pretty formal, it is written on the back of a letter so it saves paper, & of course, she referred to herself as mom.

That's it! Back to work now!

Microsoft!!!

I'm sure we are all excited about what the Zune will do to the MP3 market (hopefully kill off Apple!)

I'm even more excited about the upcoming software launches of Windows Vista (which my cpu is ready for) & Office 2007.

Here is a download that will prepare for the Office update, it will allow Office 2003 to open Office 2007 files, which will be useful as more people start upgrading

Lastly, what's wrong with Apple, soon to be entering the phone marketing, just give it up!

Random Again!

I'm looking forward to some movies again. I'm not sure how appropriate it is to release movies on December 25th but that's when Rock Balboa comes out it's an interesting concept of where something done virtually leads to curiosity until finally confrontation. This year, with the release of 2 new gaming systems, there has been some crazy stories around people paying whatever they need to to get such systems. I'm reading about most of this from http://www.digg.com/ which i'm again like 2 years late in finding out about.

A nice work filled weekend, i'm enjoying being home alone more & more, the next couple of weeks will be crazy with finishing up the semester but then i'll be looking forward to the conference which is supposed to be minutes away from the West Edmonton Mall (which although I don't like shopping should be interesting to see!) Alberta as a province seems like a pretty good place to live/work, I would say it would be top 5 in the country (definitely lowered because of how dry it is!)

No Title

After a promising pre-season the Raptors now stand at 2 - 8. I don't know what they need to do to fix things, maybe more trades, maybe wait until a bunch of home games. I shouldn't be looking forward to the draft in November.

Also, the TTC has decided to have new tokens which is multicoloured & aims to stop counterfeiting.

The new 007 movie is out & is great! I strongly recommend that you watch it!

A couple of weeks & i'm done with the semester, I guess i'm glad that there isn't snow yet, makes going out easier!

Random!

I thought this commercial was hilarious:

That movie voice over guy (Don LaFontaine) is VERY talented, I thought about randomly profiling people, but i'm impressed with all the wonderful things that so many different people do.

I tried to find another commercial I recently saw but couldn't, then I saw a similar video but it advertised for apple & i'm not posting something that does that!

Very 2-dimensional life right now, school or AIESEC.

Note: I did not mention politics or basketball for a reason

Math!

You know what's funny? Math jokes!

Here's one:

The studying doesn't stop, but that doesn't mean it's not fun!
