From Solar powered buildings, to possible rotating buildings, what will Dubai think of next?! Interesting how an economy which is financed through oil profits is thinking about the environment.
Actually, that's really narrow minded. Dubai's far from dependent on the Oil economy anymore. In fact, they barely produce 2 million barrels per day (bpd) compared to saudi arabia's 20 mil! :P It contributes only like 10 percent to their national income.
Take a guess on what the bigger business is - tourism and real estate!
Dubai's actually not just statred carin about the environment, but the ruler of the state's announced donation of 10 billion USD for education for arabic youth! :D
