The reason I am posting about it, is being unfortunately it isn't working too well right now, hopefully it just needs to have the battery changed, this calculator has been with me for almost 8 years & has been to 5 countries!

Pnut!!!!!! It's been SO long! I just wanted to say that your calculator rocks...I hope it has revived itself, or at least that you have not given up on it. I have had that exact same calculator since high-school...probably about 7-8 years total, and it still works like a charm. Although, it hasn't travelled as extensively as yours. Best regards to your long lived friend, and I hope it will live to see many more years and journies...
