Luggage...CHECK!
So, I have most of the essentials ready, I think i'm bringing the following bags, 1 with clothes, 1 for whatever else (plus lots of room to bring stuff bag) & 1 to carry on (which will have any expensive things I bring & some clothes/toiletries in case my luggage gets lost), i'm trying to cut it own to 1 big bag & the carry on but i'll see what happens, i'm glad I have the essential stuff done, now I can go over anything else I may need & get it the next couple of days
I pick my visa up this Monday & then apply for the Indian visa. Tuesday May 9 will be pretty crazy with coming back from the conference, making sure everything is in order, getting the pizza, & heading to the airport by 2:30pm, i'm still trying to convince someone at home to drive me to & from the conference (it's an hour away from where I live) but I may have to take the bus (which will take about 3 hours!)
I'm now making plans for the rest of the week, it was SUCH a Bollywood scene when I was packing, I was act as if my parents were kicking me out! I'm actually more excited about the CEED right now than I am about the conference!

Whoa! Pnut that's some mighty bags there...lol.. Good luck packing light :P I think I can beat you though.. I'm only bringing a big backpack with me :) Check it out (llorene.nomadlife.org).
Bring it on..after carrying Emad's luggage* up the four flights of stairs that lead to the MC apartment, our LC's boys are pretty much ready to tackle anything!
*huge suitcases and bags that all that weighed a ton each..thats what happens when you move across the country :P
why are you bringing so much? i'll probably just bring one suitcase and stuff my hiking backpack in there. but llorene, you should bring a bit more!

don't bring so much!! travel light, you can buy cheap (and i mean really cheap!!) clothes from here..
i'm sure the karachites will introduce you to sunday market as soon as you land!!

You should look into a rolling duffle bag.
They're bigger than Llorene's, easier to carry around, and they hold more than a suitcase.
I only brought 1 large rolling duffle, a backpack as my carry-on, and a little suitcase, just bigger than a carry on with souvenirs and comfort food!
